Merrell Men’s Traveler Rove Slip-On Shoe Reviews

Merrell Men’s Traveler Rove Slip-On Shoe Reviews

I just traveled far away, the trip that I walked a lot. I chose Merrell Men’s Traveler Rove Slip-On Shoe to travel with. Also in expectation of some activities through airport security, so I need an easy slip, slip off the shoe. They are totally worth the money, because they are very comfortable, easy to slide and turn off and still walk when walking or hiking. I have a wide foot and worry about not having time to “break in”. Regardless, I experienced no rubbing, blistering or any problems. Will definitely buy again, or buy another pair in another color.

They are comfortable! They have great traction and support. They are cool and airy, here in Arizona in the summer more than 100 degrees are very important. They seem to breathe when you walk keep your feet cool. I expect a pair of winter wool socks to keep my feet warm while the ventilation will keep them dry. They are significantly darker than in the picture although they may light up over time. Colors are definitely not a negotiable tool. Merrells existed for a long time and this purchase was a replacement for a similar pair currently showing some wear and tear. I wish they were less expensive, but with that, they were worth it. Merrell represents a line of high quality, well-made, accurate size products and is always pleasing.

They are a great fit. Very comfortable for a whole day of walking. Easily take off and take back when going through airport security. I have back pain and can walk longer distances in these shoes without problems compared to me in some others. Soft leather and tabs at the heel are a plus for rubbing. We bought 2 brown tones and they are very attractive for both casual and VERY casual or semi-dressy. I was satisfied enough to buy these again when the first pair was broken.

Some things to consider when purchasing travel shoes

1. Destination is important

The travel shoes you choose should match well with your destination. You should bring a pair of hiking boots if you will spend a lot of time walking in the city, or pair of boots for winter trip, or pair sandal for cool summer.

2. Right size

The fit is it when it comes to shoes. It doesn’t matter if you have a suitable shoe for this occasion, destination or activity if your shoes are uncomfortable. There are several ways to make sure you get the right fit, including:

Your feet are naturally swell during the day so a pair of matching shoes early in the morning may be a bit tight at the end of the day so it is reasonable to try shoes in the evening.

You should bring with you all kinds of socks with new shoes when you travel.

Have your feet sized by an expert whenever possible. You may be surprised to find that your feet are slightly different in size – this is not common at all.

3. Function & Performance

Consider all the variables when choosing a pair of men’s shoes for travel. For example, determine if the soles are adequate – and durable enough – for your activities. Or, perhaps it’s very necessary that waterproof shoes. Read reviews to get a sense of a comfortable general assessment of shoes.

4. Weight

A quality pair of shoeswon’t weight for you when you travel (or charge too much luggage) but must be durable enough to handle all activities you have in the store.

5. Design

This is important to make your appearance look more attractive. Make you confident when you go everywhere.

6. Breathability

How well another shoe breathes – ventilation and ability to keep your feet cool, dry and cozy – is another important consideration. Some shoes combine with microfibers to absorb sweat from your feet. Mesh Uppers often earn high points for breathing.

7. Material

Leather, suede and fabric are the most popular materials used in shoe construction. The leather has a lot of visual appeal, is durable, and is generally porous enough to provide some breathing. Suede is a staple of ordinary men’s footwear, while canvas shoes (such as sneakers) are very popular in spring and summer, although certainly not limited to those seasons.

8. Price

Don’t be afraid to spend a little more on a shoe that fits and looks good, but the high price doesn’t always show the quality of the shoe. Determine the amount you want to spend before buying and whether you’re willing to go over your budget if you find a shoe that offers everything you need.
