These boots are very cute and styelish, they are super comfortable right out of the box. I can wear all day without pain at the end of the day. The more I wear them the more they feel comfortable. The leather is equally top-notch and has a smoother look so they are just beautiful. Healed height is perfect, not too high. The sole has great traction.
I don’t have wide feet but I have a sore big toe. I am a size 10 so I ordered 10.5 and they are just right. I could see what everyone was saying but it certainly had enough room for me and today I wore them in the wet rain and snow and cold and loved them. They seem well made and they look super cute too. And looked good with jeans or fleece lined tights and casual dress and were easy to get on/off at airport. I get so many compliments when I wear them.
These shoes are extraordinary! These are everyday shoes for me because I work both indoors and outdoors. They are cozy, comfortable, with room for thick socks if needed. I haven’t taken them to climb mountains yet, but they’re great every day. I have a trip scheduled for later this year in Ireland and I will take them on foot through the cold and rainy walk. I am fully confident based off my experience that this will be the only shoes I need for both walking around the city and through the trails.
My friends gave a reviews about the boots: The quality, form, and function of these boots are excellent– typical Merrells. I checked the reviews on the Merrell website I found that, generally, people found them to fit in real size. This is also my experience – I usually wear 9.5 in pumps /heels and 10 in flats / boots, and only if the manufacturer really recommends the size I need (once) order 10.5. I went ahead and ordered my regular size of 10 and this was perfect. I also have a slightly wide foot, and again, no problem with size. I believe that if I wear thick socks with these, it’s too tight and uncomfortable, but again, I don’t need thick socks, because I live in an area where the temperature rarely goes below freezing.
I wore them for a few hours and let them soften up / molded my feet a bit and now they feel great. I like them with jeans, leggings and skirts – very versatile! And it looks much nicer than my hiking shoes but still comfortable. The number of heels is perfect to get a bit of height but not be uncomfortable, and the sole is super grip!
